Tattoos have long been stigmatised in professional settings, but times are changing. While workplace perceptions of tattoos are shifting, the conversation isn’t happening as openly as it could be. That’s why tattoo-loving Cape Townians are invited to join the discussion and be part of a supportive community at Radisson Red Waterfront’s Next Level Ink-Redible talk and tattoo gathering on 28 March 2025.

“We know that tattoos in the workplace remain a debated topic. Challenging outdated perceptions in a structured setting is still new; not necessarily for those with tattoos, but definitely for others,” says Fallon Devon Kotzé, Head of Operations at Sally Mustang. Devon Kotzé, will present a talk on workplace tattoo acceptance at the event.
Radisson Red embraces self-expression in all forms. “We believe individuality, creativity, and authenticity are assets, not liabilities. This is something we make sure our employees know,” says Hayley Collisson, Lead RED General and Reservations Manager at Radisson RED Waterfront.
With World Tattoo Day on 21 March leading up to the event, it’s the ideal time to rethink traditional norms and celebrate tattoo acceptance.

At the event, industry leaders, creatives, and professionals will come together to discuss how workplace culture is evolving to be more inclusive all while enjoying live entertainment, refreshments, and the chance to get inked. Ticket holders can bring their own design or choose from a selection of curated illustrations on the night.
To book, email capetown@sallymustang.co.za or WhatsApp +27 (0)64 064 8427. Tickets will also be available at the door.
